📜 Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

  • Age Limit: 22–49 years (Candidates born between 02 January 1977 and 01 January 2004 are eligible, with usual relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates).
  • Educational Qualification:
    • M.Ch / DNB / DrNB in Neurosurgery
    • Completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research from an institution designated by the National Medical Commission
    • Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) / Council for Modern Medicine
  • Qualifications are as per NMC Regulations 2025 (Faculty Qualifications Regulations, dated 30 June 2025).

⚖️ Service Conditions and Special Rules

  • Appointees must serve for four years during the first ten years of service (including training) anywhere in India or abroad under Defence Services if required.
  • Differently abled candidates and those above 45 years are exempted from compulsory military service.
  • 4% of total vacancies are reserved for eligible differently abled candidates as per Government Order dated 01 October 2023.
