📋 Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Only women candidates are eligible.
- Age Limit: 18 to 44 years (as on advertisement date). Maximum service age: 65 years. Relaxation of 3 years for candidates with ≥1 year experience.
- Residency: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the same village where the Anganwadi centre is located. Proof required:
- Voter list entry (with serial number), OR
- Certificate jointly signed by Sarpanch & Secretary, or issued by Patwari.
- Educational Qualification:
- Anganwadi Worker: Minimum 12th pass (11th pass under old system also valid).
- Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika): Minimum 8th pass.
Note: If no eligible candidate is available, qualification requirements may be relaxed step‑wise to 10th, 8th, 5th pass, or even literate women with Collector’s approval.
🎯 Additional Marks Criteria
- SC/ST candidates: +10 marks (with valid caste certificate).
- BPL families: +6 marks (with poverty line certificate mentioning year & serial number).
- Widow / Divorced / Abandoned women: +15 marks (with valid certificate or court order).
- Experience (≥1 year as Worker/Helper/Mini Worker): +6 marks.
- Studied up to Class 8 in SC/ST Girls’ Ashram School: +3 marks.
