Solution Architect (Contractual)

• Educational Qualification: Master’s in Computer Science/IT/MCA OR Engineering degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in Data Centre, IT, and SOC handling Government/PSU Data Centres.
• Contract Duration: 3 years (renewable annually based on performance and work requirements).
• Monthly CTC: ₹3,05,000 (inclusive of gratuity and medical benefits).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 24 years
• Maximum Age: 50 years
• Maximum Age after Relaxations: 55 years
• Relaxations: OBC – 3 years; PwBD – 10 years (subject to valid certificate submission).

Job Responsibilities

Senior Solution Architect

• Engage with NIC for e‑Office resiliency & modernization.
• Assess and track compliance as per industry standards for enforcement by Operations & SOC teams.
• Design, test, and roll out multi‑cloud strategies.
• Provide presales support to marketing teams for solution design, customization, and risk mitigation.
• Attend customer meetings with RailTel officials for SLA issues and new solution proposals.
• Evaluate architecture, compliance, and risk mitigation for RailTel Data Centre customers.
• Assess and test emerging technologies such as cybersecurity and new cloud environments.
• Plan and draft Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions aligned with RailTel’s requirements.
• Develop IT frameworks for implementation, operation, and maintenance across RailTel offices.
• Plan and govern cloud infrastructure at partner data centres, ensuring compliance with MeitY CSP guidelines.
• Prepare Cyber Security Frameworks incorporating vulnerability management, application security, and data privacy (DPDP Act).
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Reporting/Controlling Authority.

Solution Architect

• Architect scalable, CSP‑level, future‑ready Data Centres.
• Provide presales support for solution design, customization, and risk mitigation.
• Attend customer meetings for SLA issues and new solution proposals.
• Assess and test emerging technologies including AI, ML, cybersecurity, cloud, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Plan and govern cloud infrastructure at partner data centres, ensuring compliance with MeitY CSP guidelines.
• Engage with Bharat DB Project and IIT‑Parvartak for database migration and monetization roadmap.
• Develop Cyber Security Frameworks incorporating vulnerability management, application security, and data privacy (DPDP Act).
• Lead consulting engagements with government and enterprise clients.
• Supervise technical teams across multiple locations and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, strategy plans, and migration blueprints.
• Guide teams through infrastructure upgrades, analytics rollouts, and secure operations.
• Architect centralized logging platforms and authentication systems for large‑scale data.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Reporting/Controlling Authority.

Contract Terms

• Tenure: 3 years (renewable annually based on performance and work requirements).
• Service Agreement: One‑year agreement required at the time of engagement. Early exit requires payment of three months’ gross salary plus notice period.
• Resignation: Mandatory three‑month notice period.
