💰 Emoluments

  • Consolidated fee: ₹40,000 per month
  • Mobile phone charges: Up to ₹2,000 (one connection)
  • HRA: As per applicable rates
  • Transport allowance: 10% of consultancy fee

📅 Period of Engagement

  • Initial tenure: 1 year
  • Extendable: Up to 1 year at a time
  • Maximum tenure: 5 years or till 65 years of age (whichever is earlier)

  • Must be ITI passed with National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Electrician trade.

🎂 Age Criteria

  • Maximum age: 64 years as on 01.08.2026
  • Applicants retired under VRS considered only after 60 years of age
  • Ex‑Servicemen: Engagement up to 5 years or till 65 years of age

🛠️ Job Profile

  • Transformer Testing Division: Stage Testing & Final Testing (in‑house & customer inspection) of Power Transformers.
  • Transportation Testing Division: LV Testing, HV Testing, site support for erection & commissioning of Locomotives.

📑 Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years post‑qualification experience in testing of higher rating Power Transformers up to 400 KV class, knowledge of testing equipment, test connections, fault‑finding.
  • Experience in Locomotive assembly, operational knowledge of testing equipment, troubleshooting, and erection & commissioning of diesel electric shunting locomotives at site.

  • Applications will be scrutinized by a Committee.
  • Shortlisted candidates may be called for interaction with Selection Board.
  • Outstation candidates reimbursed travel expenses:
    • By Rail: AC‑II Sleeper
    • By Road: Actuals limited to AC‑II Sleeper fare
