The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur has released Advertisement No. 13/2026 dated 07 August 2026 inviting online applications for the post of Clerk (Job Trainee). Eligible candidates can apply through the official website hprca.hp.gov.in.

Vacancy Details

Pay & Engagement

The post of Clerk (Job Trainee) carries a consolidated fixed honorarium of ₹12,500/- per month. Engagement will be governed by the Job Trainee Policy 2025 notified by the Department of Personnel, Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years (as on 01 January 2026)
• Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex‑servicemen and employees of Himachal Pradesh Government (domiciles of HP).

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
• Typing Speed: Minimum 30 words per minute in English OR 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer.

Desirable Qualification

• Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
• Suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.

Other Conditions

• Candidates must be registered on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal before filling the Online Recruitment Application (ORA).
• Eligibility will be determined as on the closing date of application i.e. 11 September 2026.
• Bonafide Himachalis are exempted from the condition of passing Matriculation/10+2 from institutions within Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test – 120 marks, duration 1.5 hours.
• Stage 2: Typing Skill Test – qualifying in nature (30 wpm English OR 25 wpm Hindi on computer).
• Final selection will be based on merit‑cum‑performance in CBT and qualifying typing test.

2. General Knowledge: Including Himachal Pradesh GK, Current Affairs.
3. Everyday Science & Logical Reasoning.
4. Social Science.
5. General English & General Hindi (Matric level).
6. Word Processing on Computer.

Application Process

1. Candidates must register on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal before filling the Online Recruitment Application (ORA).
2. Fill the ORA form carefully with correct particulars (Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, DOB as per Matric Certificate).
3. Upload scanned photograph (latest passport size, not older than 1 month, max 1 MB) and signature (max 1 MB) in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.
4. Ensure eligibility in respect of age, category, and essential qualifications before submission.
5. Submit only one application form against each post; multiple forms will be rejected.
6. Correction window will be available for 4 days after closing date, with correction fee.

• Provisionally admitted candidates must download their admit card from hprca.hp.gov.in.
• Login using Application ID, Name, and Date of Birth.

Category Claims

• Category once claimed cannot be changed after the correction window closes.

• Reservation benefits are admissible only on parental basis and only for bona fide residents of Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility Conditions

• Relaxation of 5% may be given if candidates securing prescribed marks are less than advertised posts.
• In case of multiple shifts CBT, scores will be normalized using Z‑Score Method.
