The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), one of the primary centres of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space, Government of India, has released Advt. No. NRSC/RMT/1/2026 dated 01 August 2026 for recruitment of Temporary Research Personnel.
About NRSC
NRSC is mandated with establishment of ground stations for satellite data reception, generation of data products, dissemination to users, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster management support, geospatial services for governance, and capacity building for professionals, faculty, and students. NRSC operates through multiple campuses to meet national and regional remote sensing data and application needs of the country.

Age Limit

Stipend
- Research Scientist: As per ISRO norms (Level‑10 Pay Matrix).
- Project Associate‑I: ₹31,000 per month + HRA.
- Project Associate‑II: ₹35,000 per month + HRA.
- Project Scientist‑B: ₹56,000 per month + HRA.
- Project Scientist‑I: ₹56,000 per month + HRA.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month + HRA.
Tenure
- All positions are temporary and purely project‑based.
- Tenure is generally initially for 2 years, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
- Engagement does not confer any right for absorption or permanent employment in ISRO/NRSC.
