🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Merit Calculation
Eligibility
- Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared up to Postgraduate level.
- Residency: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward. Valid residence certificate issued by the Sub‑Divisional Magistrate (SDM) with online verification is mandatory.
- Age Limit: As on 01 July 2026, minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. Date of birth as per High School certificate will be accepted.
- Special Cases:
- Widows must provide husband’s death certificate and family register copy/municipal certificate.
- Divorced/abandoned women must provide court order.
- BPL income certificate issued within last 3 years is valid. Annual income limit: ₹46,080 (rural) and ₹56,460 (urban).
Merit Calculation
Merit will be determined based on marks obtained in Intermediate, Graduation, and Post‑Graduation:
- Percentage of marks in Intermediate will be divided by 10 to calculate merit points.
- Similar calculation will be applied for Graduation and Post‑Graduation.
- Final merit will be the sum of marks from Intermediate to Post‑Graduation.
- Example: If a candidate scores 300 out of 500 in Intermediate (60%), her merit points will be 6. These will be added with Graduation and Post‑Graduation points to prepare the final merit list.
