NEET MDS Counselling 2026: PG Dental Seat Allotment Process
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has officially started the Round 1 Registration for MDS Counselling 2026 from today. This counselling process is conducted for allotment of Post Graduate Dental Seats across India in compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India orders.
📌 Institutions Covered
- 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats of all states (except J&K unless they contribute seats).
- 100% seats (AIQ + Institutional Quota) of Central Universities (AMU, BHU, University of Delhi, and other Central Institutes).
- 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
- 50% AIQ PG seats of ESIC colleges (wards of ESIC insured persons).
- All PG seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only registration part).
- Central Institutes including VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital, ESIC Institute PGIMSR Basaidarapur (50% AIQ + 50% IP University seats).
📝 Registration Process
- Candidates must register online at the official MCC website: www.mcc.nic.in.
- Non-refundable registration fees and refundable security deposit must be paid at the time of registration as per category.
- Refundable security deposit will be forfeited if candidates do not join the seats allotted in Round-2 / Mop-Up Round / Stray Vacancy Round.

- 5% reservation for PwD category candidates as per Gazette Notification of MCI.
