Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, invites applications for the engagement of Retired Short Service Commission Officers (SSCOs) from the Indian Armed Forces as Consultants on a contractual basis. These consultants will provide support to Air Traffic Services (ATS) Units at Joint User Defence Airfields.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- ✅ Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- ✅ Professional Qualification: Basic ATC Course/ATM and AL (Basic) and GCA/ATSS Course.
- ✅ Minimum 5 years of cumulative ATC duties, with at least 1 year at a Joint User Defence Airfield.
- ✅ Maximum Age: 50 years as on last date of application.
- ✅ Period between retirement and last date of application should not exceed 6 years.
💰 Remuneration & Allowances
As per DoPT guidelines, a fixed monthly amount will be admissible, calculated by deducting basic pension from pay drawn at retirement. No increments during contract period. Transport allowance for commuting will be provided, and TA/DA admissible for official tours as per entitlement at retirement.
🕒 Period of Engagement
- 📌 Initial engagement: 1 year (extendable annually).
- 📌 Maximum cumulative period: 5 years.
- 📌 Engagement cannot exceed age of 55 years.
- 📌 Full-time basis; no other assignments permitted.
