The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released Category No. 132/2026 for the recruitment of Plumber (By Transfer) in the Kerala Water Authority. This notification is exclusively for in-service personnel working in lower categories

📌 Vacancy Details

Total Vacancies: 08 (Eight)

The ranked list prepared will remain valid for a minimum of one year and up to three years, unless a new list is published earlier. Candidates will be advised against vacancies reported during the validity period.

🧾 Method of Appointment

Direct recruitment from in-service personnel in lower categories of Kerala Water Authority.

  • Applicants must have worked in lower categories under GO(P) No.1/2023/WRD dated 27.01.2023 or under Kerala Water Authority Service Rules, 2011 for at least three years.
  • If no eligible candidates are available, vacancies will be filled from the ranked list prepared for direct recruitment.
  • Reservation rules under Part II KS&SSR (Rules 14–17) are not applicable.

⏳ Age Limit

Eligible age range: 18 – 50 years. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2008 (both dates inclusive) can apply. No further relaxation is admissible. Differently abled candidates are not eligible for age relaxation.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • Pass in SSLC or equivalent
  • National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Plumber trade awarded by NCVT after completion of one-year course or equivalent
  • Preferential Qualification: National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) holders will be given preference over NTC holders, subject to government orders.

📑 Service Certificate Requirement

Applicants must obtain a Service Certificate from their Head of Office/Department in the prescribed format, verifying service particulars and probation status. This certificate must be produced when required by the Commission.
