📋 Position Summary – Role and Impact
The Tax Analyst II will be part of a high‑performing team leading all aspects of US international taxation. This role involves compliance, consulting, tax provision services, risk management, audits, and process transformation initiatives, offering exposure to cutting‑edge global tax issues.
🔧 Key Responsibilities – Duties of the Role
- Manage US international tax compliance including earnings & profits calculations, Subpart F computations, and foreign tax credit analysis.
- Prepare and review forms such as 5471, 8991, 8992, 8993, 1118, and 8858.
- Handle FATCA, FBAR, and 1042 withholding tax filings.
- Conduct quarterly and annual international tax provision analysis including ASC 740 and APB 23.
- Lead tax planning activities, estimated tax forecasts, and complex transaction analysis.
- Guide junior or co‑sourced personnel on compliance and tax accounting projects.
- Research complex tax technical issues using tools like Checkpoint or BNA.
- Respond to notices from tax authorities and interact directly with officials.
- Drive ongoing process transformation initiatives across the tax function.
