Introduction

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Company under the Ministry of Defence, has released Advertisement No. BEL/CLD/APP/GAPP/202627/01 dated 21 July 2026. BEL, Bengaluru Complex is inviting Engineering Graduates to undergo Graduate Apprenticeship Training for a period of one year under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BoAT), Southern Region, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a domicile of the Southern Region: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala & Puducherry.
• Engineering/Technology Graduation from a recognized Board/University on or after 01 July 2022.
• Upper age limit: 25 years (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD).
• Minimum percentage: 60% & above for General/OBC, 50% & above for SC/ST.
• Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing Apprenticeship Training under NATS are not eligible.
• Candidates with higher qualifications (acquired or pursuing) are not eligible.

Selection Process

• Selection is purely meritbased, determined by marks secured in the written test.
• Only selected candidates will be intimated via email.
• Original documents required during selection:
  • SSLC/10th Marks Card
  • Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC)
  • Aadhar Card
  • SC/ST/OBC/Divyang Certificates (if applicable)

Facilities Provided to Apprentices

Stipend

• Monthly stipend of 17,500 during the training period.
• Breakup: 13,000 paid by BEL + 4,500 paid by Government through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT).

• Canteen & Transport: Available on chargeable basis.
• Medical Facilities: Free OPD medical services at BEL hospital as per company norms.
• Insurance: Free Group Personnel Accident Insurance (GPAI) policy insured for a sum of 5.00 Lakhs.
