All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has officially released the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 11 Notice No. 103/2026 Date: 24.07.2026. Online applications are invited for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-, Group-B) for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS across India.

Eligibility Criteria for NORCET 11 Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (As on Closing Date 13.08.2026):
You are eligible under ANY ONE of the following two categories:
Category I:
- a. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing council recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC recognized Institute / University.
- b. Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
Category II:
- a. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
- b. Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
- c. Two Years Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all Participating AIIMS.
¸ Important Remarks: The required two years of experience for GNM candidates is an essential criterion and to be valid, the experience shall be acquired AFTER obtaining Essential Qualification i.e. after completing the residency period of the course, declaration of result & registration with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
Age Limit (As on 13.08.2026):
- ¹ For all AIIMS: Between 18-30 Years.
- ¹ Crucial date for determining age shall be closing date of online registration i.e. 13.08.2026.

Application Fees NORCET 11 2026 µ
- General / OBC Candidates: Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only)
- SC/ST Candidates / EWS: Rs.2400/- (Rupees Twenty-Four Hundred only)
- ¿ Persons with Disabilities: Exempted (No Fee)
- Payment Mode: Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking. Transaction / Processing fee, if any, will be payable by candidate.
- Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Applications without prescribed fee will be rejected.
- Special: Application Fees of SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded after declaration of results in due course of time after verification of SC/ST certificate.
¥¸ How to Apply for AIIMS NORCET 11 2026? Step by Step
🛠️ Essential Tools
- Visit official AIIMS Exams website www.aiimsexams.ac.in
- Do One Time Registration (OTR) if you are new. If you already registered in previous AIIMS exam, you must apply using old OTR ID. Application with different registration ID will be rejected.
- Fill online application carefully from 24.07.2026 to 13.08.2026 upto 5:00 PM. No physical documents need to be sent.
- ¸ Upload Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression as per Upload Image Instructions given in General Links. If images are not as per instructions, application will be rejected.
- Pay application fee online.
- ¾ Keep a copy of Application Form and proof of payment for your records. Correction in registration will NOT be considered through any mode i.e. email/letter. No correction will be allowed after specified dates.
- If you are working in Government / Semi / Quasi Government / PSU / Autonomous Bodies or institution funded by Government, you must upload NOC by 18.08.2026 (5:00 PM) failing which candidature will be cancelled.
- Submit and take printout.
Documents Required at Time of Verification
After qualifying CBT, provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates at the time of verification by respective AIIMS:
- i) Copy of downloaded Registration Slip of online application form
- ii) Copy of downloaded Admit Card
- iii) Certificate showing Date of Birth
- iv) Caste / Income & Asset Certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC/EWS
- v) Disability Certificate, if applied under PWBD category
- vi) Certificate from competent authority if age relaxation is claimed other than caste/PWBD
- vii) No Objection Certificate if in specified kind of employment
- viii) Educational Qualification certificates
- ix) INC/State Nursing Council Registration
- x) Experience certificate, if any
- xi) Any other certificate as required
¸ It is assumed that you are in possession of all required certificates on the day of online application. No additional time will be granted to obtain a certificate. Decision of respective Institute shall be final.
Important Instructions Must Read ¸
- Category SC/ST to UR/OBC/EWS cannot be corrected once registration fees are submitted. Candidature will be cancelled if found incorrect.
- Educational qualification, registration and experience must be completed on or before closing date 13.08.2026.
- ¯ This is a common examination for recruitment of Nursing Officer in various participating AIIMS/Hospitals. Choices for AIIMS will be invited at a later stage from qualified candidates as per scheme. If you fail to exercise choice and preference in given duration, you will not be considered for selection.
