- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent; maximum Post‑Graduation. Merit will be determined based on marks from Intermediate to Post‑Graduation (percentage divided by 10).
- Residency: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward.
- Age Limit: As on 01 July 2026, minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. Date of birth as per High School certificate will be considered valid.

- Widowed women from families below the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
- Legally divorced or abandoned women from families below the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
- If no such candidates are available, other women from below poverty line families in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
- If still unavailable, widowed/divorced/abandoned women from families above the poverty line.
- Finally, other women from families above the poverty line.
- If no eligible candidate is found in the Gram Sabha/Ward, selection will be made from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat following the same order of preference.
