Note: Age relaxations are subject to rules under Telangana State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1996. However, no applicant shall be eligible if he/she exceeds the superannuation age after relaxation.

📊 Reservations

Direct recruitment under this notification will follow the reservation rules as per Rule‑22 & 22(A) of Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996. The following categories are covered:

📍 Local Candidate Reservation

95% of posts are reserved for local candidates under Multi Zone‑I and Multi Zone‑II. Definition of local candidate is based on continuous study or residence in the concerned local area for the prescribed period.

  • Studied in local institutions for at least 4 consecutive academic years ending with the qualifying exam.
  • If not studied, must have resided in the local area for at least 4 years immediately preceding the qualifying exam.
  • For broader eligibility, candidates who studied in Telangana for 7 consecutive years are considered local to the zone where they studied longest.

📜 Community Certificates

Applicants claiming reservation or relaxation must produce valid community certificates issued by Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Tahsildar in Telangana. The following rules apply:

  • SC/ST: Certificate issued by competent Revenue Authority of Telangana State.
  • BC: Non‑Creamy Layer Certificate (Form‑VIIB) issued by Tahsildar via Mee‑Seva.
  • EWS: Income certificate for the financial year prior to application, issued by Tahsildar via Mee‑Seva.
  • PWD: Disability certificate as per G.O.Ms.No.31, WD, CW & DW Dept., Dt.01/12/2009.
  • Sports Quota: Reservation applicable as per G.O.Ms.No.74, YAT&C (Sports) Dept., Dt.09/08/2012 and subsequent amendments.

Note: Applicants from other states are not entitled to any reservation benefits under this notification.

Step‑by‑Step Process

  1. Step‑I: Register through One Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered. A unique TGPSC ID will be generated.
  2. Step‑II: Login using TGPSC ID and Date of Birth. Verify details fetched from OTR database (Name, DOB, Qualifications, Community, etc.).
  3. Step‑III: Select examination centre and preview the application for correctness.
  4. Step‑IV: Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
  5. Step‑V: Download the PDF copy of the submitted application form. Keep the Reference ID Number safe for future correspondence.

💳 Application & Examination Fee

  • Application Processing Fee: ₹1000 for OC & BC applicants; ₹500 for SC, ST & PwD applicants.
  • Examination Fee: ₹120 for all applicants.
  • Exemptions: Unemployed applicants are exempted from examination fee. Government employees (Central/State/PSUs/Corporations) must pay both fees.
