Anganwadi Helper Recruitment – Patan Project, District Durg (Chhattisgarh)

The Integrated Child Development Project (ICDS), Patan, District Durg has issued a notification dated 24 July 2026 inviting online applications for the vacant post of Anganwadi Helper at Fekari Anganwadi Centre No. 03. The vacancy arose due to the resignation of the previous helper on the same date.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only women candidates are eligible.
• Age limit: 18 to 44 years as on the date of notification. Maximum service age: 65 years.
• Candidates with at least 1 year of prior Anganwadi experience will receive a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.
• Applicants must be permanent residents of the concerned Gram Panchayat/Ward where the vacancy exists.
• Minimum educational qualification: 8th Class pass from a recognized board.
• Applicants must attach valid residence proof (voter list entry or certificate issued by Panchayat/Patwari/Urban body).
• SC/ST candidates must submit a permanent caste certificate issued by competent authority. Temporary certificates will require an undertaking to submit permanent proof within 6 months.
• Widowed and abandoned women will receive additional marks during evaluation, subject to valid supporting documents.
• BPL certificate based on the 2011 Socio‑Economic Census deprivation index is mandatory for candidates claiming BPL status.
